Roger Wade created Boxfresh in 1990. The name was inspired
from the Bronx term for kids wearing new shoes, brand new out
of the box, 'Boxfresh'. A chance meeting with 2 designers Olaf
Parker and Sue Denny (who later formed Burro) was the catalyst.
With the new designers on board Boxfresh started producing T-Shirts
with unique prints and Boxfresh was born.
Taking inspiration from hip hop, graffiti and the underground
street culture of London, Boxfresh is one of an exclusive group
of brands that defined the idea of British urban wear. Cutting
edge designs with quirky, original touches make for a slick,
casual style for boys and girls, reflecting Boxfresh’s
ethos ‘We are you’.
